Passive Charge Capture

ZipChart passively captures CPT codes and all office charges for each patient encounter. With ZipChart's unique customization, all the physician's usual CPT codes are added to the orders menus where they may be unobtrusively accessed with a couple clicks during the actual patient visit. Thus, these CPT charges for ALL procedures performed in the office are automatically added to the electronic charge sheet, eliminating the need for a paper superbill.

Charges are passed through an HL7 interface to the practice management system for seamless claim processing, reporting and billing. ZipChart will send charge information to (and receive demographic and scheduling information from) any PMS with HL7 capabilities.

ZipChart includes the entire current CPT and ICD-9 codes in an easily searchable database.

Complete Billing Reports
Billing reports can be printed at the end of the day and entered into your Patient Management System. Optionally, charges may be automatically exported to any HL7 compliant Patient Management system, eliminating the need for duplicate data entry.
